Orthotics Recycling Program

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Negril, Jamaica 2 times per year where I serve in a charitable clinic, providing free orthotic care to the impoverished children of Jamaica. This clinic, Pediatric Orthotic Services, is staffed and managed by volunteers including myself and another orthotist from Canada. Every year we are able to serve 100 to 150 children by re-fitting used bracing which has been donated by families here in Kentucky and from Canada. We are so grateful to the families who save and donate their used, outgrown AFOs to these children who would otherwise have no¬†access to the orthotic treatment they need.

Thank you so much to everyone who has joined the fun by donating your used pediatric bracing. You are welcome to drop off used AFOs and KAFOs at our Lexington office. This work would not be possible without you.

And on behalf of these children and families in Jamaica, I would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you! Please be sure to watch our video to see your donations in action!

Sincerely,

gabe-sig
